Recruitment process of FPSC
Some couple of days ago, we shared some useful study material MCQs for the test of Senior Auditor in our blog, which was held on 13th and 14th of August 2017 in total of 4 batches. Since then there is an extensive debate going on about the injustice approach of FPSC while preparing the test papers, which as a matter of fact, true to some extent as well. Difficulty level of test paper of 2nd and 4th batch was way different then 1st and 2nd which badly
Aspirants openly critised it while some goes as far to file a case against FPSC. If you ask me, i would say lets gone be bygones. Because still some of the students are going to be selected via the same difficult test which many others failed to pass.

Lets move on onward and inform the new aspirants with the test and interview process of FPSC. Special thanks to Abdul Hadi for giving permission to reproduce the points mentioned below.
Recruitment process of FPSC:
1) FPSC publishes vacant position on leading newspapers and its website and assigned it a unique case number. Usually they give around 2 months of preparation time for the test
2) FPSC conducts teast batch wise and as per schedule. Please note that mobile phone and calculators tend to be strictly prohibited and you can not bring it with yourself into the test center.
3) Answer sheets will b scanned and checked and marks will be allocated. Then merit will be made on Quota basis (Not on batch basis or any other basis). So, one can't expect what will be merit. Because for every province merit will be different for Open merit as well as for Women Quota. This process will take 2 to 4 months. Then on website, In Documents Required portion on website a file of qualified candidates will be uploaded. Almost 771×(3 to 5) plus few more candidates will get qualified. The candidate will be required to submit Attested documents with named stamp within 15 days. If any candidate has any document missing like degree etc. He/ she should apply now in Educational Institution for that document.
4) After receiving documents, FPSC will check your documents and reject those
candidates with irrelevant qualifications and any discrepancy in eligibility
criteria but qualified in test. After this FPSC will upload a file in
Pre-selection area on website with the list of Qualified Candidates for
Interview and Rejected Candidates with reason of rejection. Few candidates will
be required to send missing document(s) if there is/ are any. At this step if
your name is in rejected candidates or your name is not in list at all but you
think you're falling under eligibility criteria then you can claim for it by
going to FPSC Headoffice or Regional Office. This process will also take 3 to 4
months.
5) After uploading Pre-selection, FPSC will upload Interview program list of
different regions in General Recruitment section on website. Candidates will
also receive Interview Letters and SMS with time, date and interview centre. If
any document is still missing then it will be mentioned on letter which will
have to be provided on Interview day. If still you don't provide the missing
document on Interview date then you'll have to post it to FPSC Headoffice
within 15 days after interview. This is the last chance to submit missing
documents.
Interview
Process will take 4 to 6 months.
6) After interviews, FPSC will compile result of candidates on the basis of
aggregate marks of test and interview (100 marks for test and 200 marks for
interview). The candidate scoring high marks amongst 3 to 5 candidates will get
recommended. A file with the names of recommended candidates will be uploaded
on Final Recommendation section on website. Within 7 days recommended
candidates will receive Recommendation letter from FPSC.
7) After receiving recommendation letter, recommended candidates will receive
Offer Letter within 15 days from Department mentioning date of joining.
8) After police verification and medical fitness certificate, recommended
candidates will join the department before last date of joining joining.
This
is all about selection procedure. Few things and timings may variate.
Remember
me in your prayers and wish you all very good luck in your life whether
qualified or not.
Last but not the least: If
anyone will not get qualified or has not made good marks in test then don't
loose hope. Allah has written something better for you than this one. Have
faith on Allah. Best of luck!
